I'm a DVSA-approved driving instructor based in Hertfordshire, and I've spent over a decade helping learners of all ages and backgrounds pass their driving test with confidence.
My teaching style is calm, patient and completely pressure-free. Whether you're picking up the keys for the very first time or rebuilding confidence after a difficult experience, I'll meet you exactly where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
I have a particular passion for helping nervous drivers — not just to pass the test, but to feel genuinely safe and capable on the road for the rest of their lives.

Absolutely — this is one of Joyce's specialisms. She uses a calm, patient approach with zero pressure. Many of her most successful pupils have overcome real driving anxiety. You'll always go at your own pace.
Lessons are in Joyce's modern dual-control manual car, which has instructor pedals for safety. The car is fully maintained and insured for learner drivers.
Yes. Most pupils use Joyce's car for their test — it's familiar and comfortable. Joyce will also accompany you on test day for moral support.
Joyce can offer guidance and recommend the best resources. Her Beginner Package includes specific theory test support built into the course.
Motorway lessons are taken after passing your test and build confidence on faster roads. Joyce offers dedicated motorway lesson sessions to help new drivers feel safe and capable on dual carriageways and motorways.
